Job summary

Randstad Staffing in Bromley is seeking a Media Qualified Learning Support Assistant to deliver targeted 1:1 support for a student on a Level 3 Media course within a welcoming Further Education college. You will combine media or journalism knowledge with practical educational support, helping the learner manage deadlines, access specialist equipment, and build independence and confidence.

This term-time role focuses on safeguarding, inclusivity and personal development within a busy campus

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification or degree in Media, Journalism, or a closely related subject is essential.
• Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 educational, technical, and accessibility support to a student taking a Level 3 Media programme.
• Assist the learner in understanding course content, managing deadlines, and using specialist media equipment or assistive technology.
• Support the student's personal development, social skills, and self-advocacy in line with their target outcomes.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, safety, and general well-being as required within the college environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and the learning inclusion team to monitor progress and adapt support strategies.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For
