Job summary

Greenberg Traurig LLP's London office is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its market-leading media, entertainment and sports team in London. The role involves managing a broad practice of advisory and transactional matters, often with an international element, and collaborating with colleagues across the firm’s global network.

The successful candidate will be commercially minded, proactive, and capable of business development, with strong drafting and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Experience of commercial contracts is essential, ideally in a city, national or large regional or US law firm.
• Commercial contracts experience for media, entertainment and sports clients is preferred.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills, with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients in media, entertainment and sports on commercial transactions including sponsorships and licensing.
• Draft bespoke commercial contracts and negotiate terms with clients.
• Collaborate with advisory, transactional and disputes teams on cross-cutting matters.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with pragmatic, strategic advice.
• Manage client work and keep stakeholders informed on progress and costs.
• Support junior team members and contribute to thought leadership.
