Job summary

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration in Ontario or eligibility.
• Ability to learn basic arrhythmia interpretation.
• Willingness to work in Emergency when required.
• Current BCLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interviewing and communication skills.
• Ability to escort patients by ambulance when needed.
• Team player with commitment to ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and assess patient needs, providing care and treatment.
• Deliver supportive, preventive, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative care to patients.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
