Brightshores Health System in Southampton (Ontario) seeks a Registered Practical Nurse to promote health, assess needs and deliver care across acute medical/surgical units. The role involves therapeutic and rehabilitative interventions, with attention to patient safety and quality of care.

The incumbent will work collaboratively with the site team, participate in staff discussions and contribute to service improvements while meeting shift requirements and maintaining professional development.

Competenze

• Current nursing registration in Ontario or eligibility.
• Ability to learn basic arrhythmia interpretation.
• Willingness to work in Emergency when required.
• Current BCLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interviewing and communication skills.
• Ability to escort patients by ambulance when needed.
• Team player with commitment to ongoing education.
