Job summary

Brightshores Health System in Southampton is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time temporary assignment ending March 2027. The role focuses on health promotion, assessment, and delivering comprehensive care across supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative modalities to patients.

Reporting to the site manager, you will work in a medical/surgical setting, demonstrate leadership and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and patient

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or eligibility.
• Ability and willingness to interpret basic arrhythmias.
• Ability and willingness to work in Emergency as required.
• Certified in ACLS/BCLS or willingness to obtain.
• Leadership, problem solving, decision-making, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
• Assessment and interviewing skills.
• Willingness to escort patients via ambulance services when required.
• Willingness to flex time to meet unit, staff and patient needs.
• Team-oriented and committed to continuous quality improvement.
• Willingness to work all shifts and to participate in staff meetings and unit projects.
