Brightshores Health System in Southampton seeks a Registered Practical Nurse to promote health, assess patient needs and provide comprehensive care. The role covers supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative approaches to help patients attain or maintain optimal function.

• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or eligibility.
• Ability to learn basic arrhythmia interpretation.
• Willingness to work in Emergency as required.
• Current certification in or willingness to obtain: BCLS.
• Leadership, problem solving, decision-making, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
• Assessment and interviewing skills.
• Ability to escort patients via ambulance when required.
• Ability and willingness to work in a team and contribute to quality improvement.
• Ability to work all shifts.
