Job summary

Occupational Health Staffing Ltd is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in Southampton, Hampshire on a temporary basis, six days a week with 12-hour shifts from early morning to night. The role requires at least 3 years post‑registration experience in A&E, urgent care, or related settings, with fitness-to-work and life support certification.

The successful candidate will perform on-site assessments, deliver nursing care per protocols, and know when to escalate to emergency services.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post-registration clinical experience in A&E, Emergency Nursing, Urgent care, minor injuries unit or occupational health.
• Familiar with fitness to work principles and immediate life support certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate on-site assessment and first aid management of injuries and illnesses.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care within clinical protocols.
• Determine when escalation to Urgent Care Centres, Emergency Department or EMS is required.
• Support incident investigations with relevant information as needed.
