Job summary

New City College in London seeks an inspirational Lecturer in Mechatronics Engineering for a one-year fixed-term contract to deliver teaching and assessment across Level 2 to HNC, including apprenticeships, within a multidisciplinary team.

You will help learners gain practical skills and industry-ready knowledge, contribute to curriculum development and employer engagement, and uphold quality across records and assessment.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with ability to teach across Mechatronics Engineering programmes.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching, learning and assessment across Mechatronics Engineering programmes.
• Support learner achievement through effective feedback and pastoral guidance.
• Develop course materials, schemes of work and assessments meeting awarding body requirements.
• Engage with employers and awarding organisations to enhance curriculum quality.
• Maintain records and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
