Job summary

DN Colleges Group is recruiting a Lecturer - Mechanical Engineering to deliver high-quality teaching across Mechanical Engineering programmes and to act as a Programme Tutor, supporting students’ progress and wellbeing. The role includes developing engaging learning experiences, using innovative methods and learning technologies, and ensuring robust assessment and documentation.

Qualifications

• Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
• Willingness to work towards a recognised Level 5 teaching qualification within the first 18 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Mechanical Engineering programmes.
• Act as Programme Tutor and support student progress, wellbeing and attainment.
• Develop engaging learning using technology and inclusive practices.
• Assess work, keep accurate records and contribute to quality assurance.
• Support recruitment activities and curriculum development.
