Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD in Leominster is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to join our engineering team to develop cutting‑edge antenna positioning systems and bespoke electromechanical solutions used across defence, government and commercial applications.

You’ll be involved throughout the entire engineering life cycle, from concept and design through prototype development, testing, validation and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in engineering with hands-on, practical experience.
• Experience in defence, military or harsh environments is an advantage.
• Hands-on, collaborative problem-solver with hands-on CAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop electromechanical antenna positioning systems and customer solutions.
• Support motor sizing, motion control and control system selection.
• Create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Assist with software and GUI development for product control systems.
• Build, test and validate prototypes and contribute to design reviews.
• Support production testing, reliability activities and quality standards.
