Job summary

Options Resourcing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management company for three Assistant Technical Services Managers (Mechanical) to work on a healthcare contract in West Bromwich.

The role focuses on experienced mechanical/building services knowledge, with on-call coverage and the ability to support engineers, contractors and site teams to maintain critical systems to high standards. A full UK driving licence is required due to on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance or building services.
• Healthcare or critical environments experience is advantageous.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with contractors and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Technical Services Manager with daily management of mechanical services.
• Assist with delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
• Provide technical guidance on mechanical building services.
• Manage engineers, contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor quality and progress of maintenance works.
• Ensure works meet timescales and service levels.
• Assist in coordinating remedial works and identifying faults.
• Oversee maintenance activities across the healthcare contract.
• Support maintenance programmes and on-site coordination.
• Liaise with clients and site teams to resolve issues.
