Job summary

Proman Recruitment seeks a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join a busy healthcare site in West Birmingham (B66). The role focuses on mechanical maintenance and building services within an NHS environment on a temporary contract.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate has an apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline, 3+ years' post-apprenticeship experience, and a valid UK driving

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline (City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years' post-apprenticeship maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and plant maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance
• Maintain and repair mechanical plant and building services equipment
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
