Job summary

V.Group is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for an offshore FPSO project. The role is contract-based and based on shipboard operations, reporting to Engine Department.

You will oversee maintenance of pumps, gas compressors, water injection pumps, and power generation equipment, ensuring safe and efficient machinery space operations. Candidates should have at least 5 years offshore experience with 3 in supervision, English proficiency at CEFR B2, and be medically fit for offshore work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years offshore experience, 3 at supervisor level.
• Extensive maintenance experience with oil pumps and gas compressors.
• FPSO experience is desirable.
• Proficiency in PTW and risk assessment techniques.
• English proficiency CEFR B2.

Additional Requirements

• HNC/HND or equivalent in mechanical Engineering preferred or Chief Engineer Certificate as per STCW Reg AIII/2.
• A minimum of 5 years’ offshore experience of which 3 must be at supervisor level
• Extensive experience in maintenance of oil pumps, gas compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal), water injection pumps, power generation equipment, machinery space equipment and utility systems
• FPSO experience is desirable
• Fully experienced with PTW and Risk Assessment Techniques
• Proficiency in English at a minimum of B2 level according to the CEFR international standard.
• Medically fit according to the Company GEMS ‘Health Requirements to Work Offshore’ Instruction.
