Job summary

V.Group is seeking an Offshore Installation Manager for a Floating Production, Storage & Offloading Facility on a Shipboard contract. The role requires extensive FPSO operations knowledge and proven OIM experience, with a focus on safety, production, and maintenance management offshore.

Applicants should hold engineering qualifications or maritime equivalents and demonstrate strong English proficiency. The position is based on a contract basis with offshore deployment.

Qualifications

• HND or Degree in engineering subject or Marine qualification per STCW.
• Minimum 2 years’ OIM experience.
• English at CEFR level C1 or higher.
• Offshore safety and emergency management training (OSM, EMS, OIM control).
• MOU Operations Courses per IMO Resolution 1079 section 6.2 or STCW CoC Holder.
• Medically fit according to GEMS offshore health requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of FPSO operations: production, maintenance, engineering and safety management.
• High level of commercial awareness.

Additional Requirements

Pre-hire Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience and results-oriented career AND/OR HND or Degree equivalents in appropriate engineering subject, OR Marine qualified to Master Mariner / Chief Engineer unlimited as per STCW Reg.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as OIM.
• Proficiency in English at a minimum of C1 level according to the CEFR international standard.
• Offshore Personal Survival, Management of Major Emergencies, OIM Controlling Emergencies, OIM
• Persons in Charge – MOU Operations Courses - IMO Resolution 1079 section 6.2 or STCW CoC Holder.
• Medically fit according to the Company GEMS ‘Health Requirements to Work Offshore’ Instruction.
• Extensive knowledge of offshore FPSO operations, including Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Safety Management.
• High level of commercial awareness.
