Job summary

V.Group is seeking an Instrument Technician (Offshore) for a contract role on a Floating Production Storage & Offloading Facility. You will join the Engine department to support instrumentation systems and process utilities aboard shipboard.

Offshore experience, familiarity with Permit to Work, isolation standards, risk assessment, and ENG1 medical fitness are essential to perform effectively in this marine environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND in Instrument Engineering or local equivalent.
• 3 years offshore experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
• Experience with Permit to Work, Instrument/Mechanical Isolation Standards, and Risk Assessment.
• COMP Ex E’X’ course preferred.
• Medically fit to ENG1 or equivalent.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND in Instrument Engineering or local equivalent
• 3 years experience desired with offshore experience preferred
• Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities
• Good experience of Permit to Work, Instrument/Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment
• COMP ex E’X’ course preferred
• Medically fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent
