Job summary

Kier Group in Neath Port Talbot Hospital, Baglan Way, Port Talbot, SA12 7BX, is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead the O&M team on the PFI facilities. You will coordinate mechanical maintenance, plan workloads, and ensure safety and quality across site operations.

Ideal candidates will have an apprenticeship/NVQ or equivalent, strong communication skills, and a valid driving licence. This role offers training and progression within a supportive Kier environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in maintenance with a mechanical bias.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Apprenticeship/NVQ or equivalent training relevant to your skill base.
• Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritise workload to achieve service delivery and on-time project completion.
• Manage and monitor site activities with focus on safety, quality and environmental duties.
• Coordinate with management to optimise labour, materials, plant and equipment within budgets.
• Monitor helpdesk tickets to ensure proper logging and timely resolution.
• Develop client relationships and maintain clear communication with workforce, customers and suppliers.
