Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead the Neath Port Talbot Hospital maintenance team in Port Talbot. You will oversee mechanical services, ensure safety and compliance, and coordinate with the operations team to deliver on-site projects.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical maintenance experience, a recognised apprenticeship, a valid driving licence, and strong communication skills. The role offers training and progression within Kier.

Qualifications

• Experience across multiple aspects of maintenance with a mechanical bias.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good computer literacy and ability to use standard software.
• Hold a recognised apprenticeship, NVQ or equivalent training programme.
• Hold a valid full driving licence and be willing to travel on-site as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritise workload to achieve service delivery and on-time project completion.
• Manage and monitor site activities, ensuring safety, quality and environmental duties are met.
• Liaise with management to optimise labour, materials, plant and equipment within budgets.
• Monitor helpdesk jobs to ensure correct logging and timely completion.
• Develop client relationships and maintain clear communication with workforce, customers and suppliers.
