Job summary

Linea Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Supervisor to join our Projects Division in Dartford/London. You will supervise mechanical installation teams, coordinate with other trades, and ensure works are delivered on time and to high quality standards on a range of commercial and residential schemes.

You should have strong building services knowledge, experience supervising MEP projects, and be able to manage subcontractors, read drawings and RAMS, and maintain safety on site.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising mechanical installations on MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of building services and RAMS processes.
• Ability to read drawings and programmes and coordinate with trades.

Mechanical Supervisor - Projects Division

Location: Dartford / London

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Van

Sector: Building Services / M&E

We are currently working with a leading MEP / Building Services contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their growing Projects Division.

This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased professional who is looking to take ownership of projects, lead site teams and work alongside an experienced project management team on a range of high-value schemes.

The Role

As Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of mechanical installations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervising mechanical installation teams and subcontractors
• Coordinating mechanical works with other trades and site management
• Reading and working from drawings, specifications and programmes
• Ensuring installations are completed to the required standards
• Monitoring progress and reporting to the Project Manager
• Managing labour, materials and site resources
• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring compliance with RAMS
• Attending site meetings and coordinating with clients and other contractors
• Supporting commissioning and project handover
• Maintaining strong health & safety standards across the project

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical building services background who has experience supervising projects within the commercial, residential, industrial or wider MEP sector.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Supervisor
• Strong mechanical building services knowledge
• Experience working for an M&E / MEP contractor
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site teamsGood understanding of drawings, programmes and RAMSStrong communication and organisational skillsRelevant mechanical qualifications
