Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd in Dartmouth is actively seeking a Mechanical Site Supervisor to oversee on-site mechanical building services installations, coordinating labour and subcontractors to deliver projects on time. This role can be offered on a permanent or freelance basis, with long-term continuity for the right candidate.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and delivery team to ensure safe, efficient execution, maintain programme delivery and support testing, commissioning and handover

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising mechanical installation activities on site.
• Experience coordinating labour and subcontractors on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework or mechanical building services.
• Ability to manage programme requirements and ensure safety on site.

Mechanical Site Supervisor

A growing M&E contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to oversee mechanical building services installations on a project in Dartmouth.

The company delivers mechanical and electrical packages across a range of commercial, residential, education, healthcare and industrial projects throughout the UK. Due to a strong workload and continued project wins, they are seeking an individual who can take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of mechanical works on site and help drive projects through to successful completion.

This opportunity is available on either a permanent or freelance basis. For freelance professionals, the role offers long-term continuity of work and the potential for future projects upon completion.

The Role

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will be responsible for supervising mechanical installation works on site, coordinating labour and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Foreman, Mechanical Supervisor or Mechanical Engineer with experience coordinating labour and subcontractors
• Strong background in HVAC, pipework, public health or mechanical building services
• Experience delivering mechanical packages on commercial, residential, healthcare, education or similar construction projects
• Ability to manage labour, subcontractors and programme requirements
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• Mechanical trade background advantageous
