Job summary

Linea Recruitment Ltd in the UK is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading MEP contractor on a large-scale residential project in Billericay, Essex. The role oversees mechanical installation works and ensures projects are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

You will supervise site teams, coordinate mechanical engineers and subcontractors, read and interpret drawings, and liaise with other trades to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Chargehand / Mechanical Foreman.
• Experience working on large residential developments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical installation works across a large residential development.
• Manage and coordinate mechanical engineers, subcontractors and site teams.
• Ensure works are installed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, construction and other trades.
• Monitor progress and report back to the Project Manager.
• Assist with programme planning and sequencing of works.
• Carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet required standards.
• Manage site documentation, RAMS and permits where required.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Liaise with the wider site management team to resolve technical and installation issues.
