CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer for a hospital site in Lewisham. The role focuses on mechanical maintenance with electrical competencies, in a healthcare setting. Salary up to £48,900 and clear career progression are offered.

You’ll monitor plant, carry out routine maintenance on pumps, fans, AHU/FCU units, water treatment, plumbing, and BMS systems. 4 on 4 off days, 7am–7pm, with pension, travel loan, and HV training potential available.

Qualifications

• Level 2 & 3 in Mechanical Engineering (C&G, NVQ etc).
• Proven track record in Building Maintenance.
• Good Communication Skills. Multiskilled in Mechanical / Electrical.
• Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution / HVAC / HV LV desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the mechanical plant.
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings.
• Air Conditioning - AHU/FCU (Filter changes, cleaning).
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing).
• Plumbing - unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers.
• Monitor the BMS systems.
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc).
• General building fabric.
• Escort specialist subcontractors.

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Lewisham. CBW is currently looking for a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to be based in a Healthcare environment in Lewisham. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased (NVQ, C&G, etc) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,900 for further training and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor the mechanical plant
