CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to service a commercial building in Mayfair, London. The role requires mechanical qualification and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. £49,000 per year with progression and benefits. You will work with a small on-site team and cover from 07:00 start.

Qualifications

Mechanically qualified level 2 (C&G, NVQ) minimum.
Candidates must provide trade certificates (Essential).
Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
Multiskilled with strong communication and customer service.
Awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
Available for 07:00 start on site.

Responsibilities

Monitor mechanical plant and ensure reliable operation.
Oversee pumps, motors, seals and bearings maintenance.
Maintain air handling units and fan coil units, including filter changes.
Perform water treatment checks and ensure safe dosing practices.
Carry out basic electrical duties (lamp replacement).
Monitor and liaise with BMS systems and subcontractors.
Maintain general building fabric and report faults promptly.

Mechanical Day Shift Engineer - FM Service Provider- Commercial Building - Mayfair, London - £49,000

CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to cover a commercial building located in Mayfair, London. The successful candidate will be qualified mechanically and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on site (Team of 4) He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is paying a competitive salary of £49,000, further training and career progression.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor mechanical plant
Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
Monitor the BMS systems
Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
General building fabric
Escort specialist sub contractors
Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
