CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join a healthcare environment in Lewisham. The role focuses on electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance within a busy hospital facility.

The ideal candidate will be electrically biased, with NVQ/C&G 18th Edition and a proven maintenance background. The post offers a competitive salary and opportunities for on-the-job training and progression.

Qualifications

Level 3 in Electrical Installations (C&G, NVQ etc) is required.
18th Edition wiring regulations are required.
Proven track record in Building Maintenance.
Good communication skills across teams and with management.
Multi-skilled capability in mechanical and electrical tasks.
Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution / HVAC / HV LV desirable.
Strong leadership and management abilities.

Responsibilities

Lighting installation, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, and control panels.
Emergency lighting maintenance and testing.
Air conditioning systems: AHU/FCU maintenance and filter changes.
Chillers - re-set and efficiency checks.
Water treatment: temperature checks and dosing oversight.
Monitor mechanical plant performance and issues.
Plumbing tasks including toilet unblockages and general upkeep.
Pumps and motors maintenance and fault resolution.
BMS monitoring and system checks (hot/cold) and alerts.
Undertake assigned tasks to a timely and professional standard.
Proactively identify faults and report/escalate H&S issues.

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Lewisham. CBW is currently looking for an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to be based in a Healthcare environment in Lewisham. The successful candidate will be Electrically biased (NVQ, C&G, 18th Edition, etc.) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, he or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,900 for further training and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballasts, Control panel, Power distribution)
Emergency lighting
Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
Chillers - Re-set
Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
Monitor the mechanical plant
Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
Pumps, motors
Water Treatment
BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
