• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in building services
• Residential delivery experience on high-rise/large-scale schemes
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, public health and associated systems
• Solid commercial awareness and programme management skills
• Ability to lead site teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Relevant industry qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (HNC/HND/Degree desirable)
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications advantageous

Mechanical Project Manager – Residential Development

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading MEP contractor delivering a prestigious residential development in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile project from installation through to commissioning and handover, working alongside a professional team on a flagship scheme.

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the mechanical package, ensuring the project is completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the mechanical installation from pre-construction through to completion.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client representatives.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring programme milestones are achieved.
• Managing procurement of mechanical materials and equipment.
• Overseeing quality assurance, commissioning, and final handover.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Managing project costs, variations, and reporting to senior management.
• Chairing progress meetings and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Identifying project risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the building services industry.
• A strong background delivering residential projects, ideally high-rise or large-scale developments.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical building services including HVAC, public health, and associated systems.
• Strong commercial awareness and programme management skills.
• The ability to lead site teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant industry qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (HNC/HND/Degree desirable).
