You will own the mechanical package from installation through commissioning and handover, leading a professional team on a high-profile, flagship scheme and liaising with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in building services
• Residential delivery experience on high-rise/large-scale schemes
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, public health and associated systems
• Solid commercial awareness and programme management skills
• Ability to lead site teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Relevant industry qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (HNC/HND/Degree desirable)
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications advantageous

Responsibilities

• Managing the mechanical installation from pre-construction through to completion
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and client representatives
• Monitoring progress and achieving programme milestones
• Procurement of mechanical materials and equipment
• Overseeing QA, commissioning and handover
• Ensuring health and safety compliance
• Managing project costs, variations and reporting to senior management
• Chairing progress meetings and maintaining client relationships
• Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
