Zusammenfassung

Core Group is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead a flagship M&E commercial development in Central London. You will own delivery of mechanical packages from pre-construction to handover, coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers while ensuring safety, quality and on-time performance.

You will manage budgets, procurement and programme milestones, report to stakeholders, and drive successful commissioning.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as Mechanical Project Manager in M&E or building services.
• Delivery of commercial projects up to £10m M&E.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing programmes, procurement, and budgets.

• Full lifecycle management of mechanical building services packages.
• Oversee mechanical installations from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Attend and lead client, design, coordination, and progress meetings.

• Manage procurement of plant, materials, and specialist subcontracts.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Review and manage technical submittals, RFIs, RAMS, and commissioning documentation.

• Work closely with commercial teams to manage project budgets, variations, and cost reporting.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and end clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the successful commissioning and handover of building services systems.

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a high-profile commercial development in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a flagship project from delivery through to completion, working with a well-established business that has a strong pipeline of work across the commercial sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all mechanical aspects of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E or Building Services sector.
• Demonstrable experience delivering commercial projects valued up to £10m M&E.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services installations.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing programme, procurement, commercial performance, and project delivery.
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and site compliance.
• Ability to lead site teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Relevant mechanical or building services qualification preferred.
• SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS qualifications desirable.
