Job description

This Automation Process Improvement Engineer position is days based Monday-Friday, company car, £55,000 plus 18% bonus, and offers training and career development with an international market leader in their field. Key Responsibilities of Automation Process Improvement Engineer

• Travel across the region to provide support to each of the group's manufacturing sites.
• Provide 'hands-on' technical support and expertise and drive Plant Operational Improvement as part of the Group Engineering function.
• Support the development of the Reliability Centred Maintenance Strategy by supporting criticality assessments and drive towards condition-based monitoring.
• Enhance plant reliability by applying modern maintenance strategies and continuous improvement techniques.
• Support new and innovative process automation initiatives.

I would love to speak to anyone who has any of the following

• Previous experience as Maintenance Engineer from either an electrical or mechanical background
• Automation, Programming, PLC Controls
• A Electrical Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 Engineering or City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent Naric / Enic Conversion
• Ability to trouble shoot & repair manufacturing plant equipment & machinery
• Previous experience within Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance within industrial manufacturing plant environments
