Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced leader to drive the MEP team in London and the wider UK. You will guide day-to-day management, develop client relationships and lead strategic initiatives across the region.

This role focuses on delivering profitable, sustainable work and maintaining strong forecast and budgeting processes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a Technical Director or Associate Director in an engineering consultancy, with expertise across

Qualifications

• Experience in business development and managing large teams of MEP professionals.
• Proven track record as Technical Director/Director within an engineering consultancy.
• Self-motivated team leader with ability to drive efficiencies and growth.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical and sustainable buildings design from concept to technical design stages.
• Chartership through CIBSE/IET/IMechE Engineering Council or working towards it.
• Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management, vision, values and leadership for the team.
• Develop client relationships and brand within the South Region.
• Meet budgets at team level and support with MEP budget planning.
• Collaborate with regional director to implement strategic initiatives.
• Share knowledge with colleagues globally and drive work-winning.
• Oversee team performance, pipeline, finances and operations.
