Atelier Ten in the UK seeks a Regional Director, MEP Engineering to lead the growth, performance, and strategic direction of the UK MEP practice across London, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

You will act as a client champion, team builder, and technical leader, shaping our multidisciplinary offering, expanding our presence, and growing a market-leading MEP team that complements sustainability and environmental design expertise. This is a business-focused leadership role.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within building services or MEP engineering consultancy.
• Strong track record of leading and growing engineering teams.
• Established relationships across the UK property, developer, architect, contractor, and institutional sectors.
• Proven success in winning major projects and developing long-term client partnerships.
• Experience managing business performance, resources, and profitability.
• Strong leadership skills with mentoring and talent development.
• Chartered Engineer status and membership of a relevant professional institution.
• Deep technical expertise in building services engineering and sustainable design.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for senior-level engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth strategy for the UK MEP business.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, architects, asset owners, contractors, and industry partners.
• Drive business development, identify opportunities, lead pursuits, and secure projects.
• Act as executive sponsor and director-in-charge on key client commissions.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight across major multidisciplinary projects.
• Grow, mentor, and develop a high-performing MEP team.
• Collaborate with sustainability and environmental design practices.
• Support recruitment, succession planning, and capability development.
• Lead resource planning, utilization and financial performance.
