Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in Stowmarket is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a fast-paced production environment. You will maintenance mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on the production line, carrying out fault repairs and preventive maintenance.

The role offers £45,000 base with OTE £60,000+, Monday to Friday, pension, training and company benefits, with clear progression into senior/management roles as you build experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree / NVQ L3 in a relevant engineering sector.
• Experience in a fast paced maintenance or production environment.
• Willing to work Monday to Friday and participate in training programs.

Responsibilities

• Detect and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Carry out part replacement, adjustments and preventive maintenance.
• Handle conveyor, valve and welding repairs.
• Record maintenance activity.
