Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Manufacturing) for our client in Stowmarket. You will maintain and operate machines on the production line to ensure smooth production and high-quality output.

The role is Monday–Friday, days-based with uncapped overtime opportunities. You will join a well‑established manufacturing business celebrated for its quality and reliability, with clear progression and comprehensive training programs.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of level 3 NVQ in a relevant field.
• Experience in maintenance within production/manufacturing.
• Willingness to work on a Monday–Friday days-based schedule.

Aufgaben

• Detect and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Perform part replacement, adjustments and welding when needed.
• Record maintenance activities and ensure workplace safety.
• Support production lines to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with environmental policies and waste/energy management.
• Coordinate with supply chains, quality and external service providers.

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with production / manufacturing experience who wants to work on a Monday - Friday, days based role with the option to greatly increase your earning potential via uncapped overtime?

In this role you be responsible for the production, maintenance and improvement of all the equipment across the production line ensuring smooth running of the production line to give the customer the best service in line with company values.

The role
