Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Manufacturing) in Stowmarket. The role focuses on maintaining and operating production line equipment, ensuring high quality output and minimal downtime.

You will work Monday–Friday, days-based, with uncapped overtime to boost earnings and a comprehensive benefits package. You should have a Level 3 NVQ and 18th Edition, live within commutable distance of Stowmarket, and be capable of fault finding across electrical,

Responsibilities

• Detect and repair electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
• Preform part replacement, adjustments and welding repairs when needed
• Record maintenance activities and ensure workplace safety
• Support production lines
• Ensure compliance with environmental requirements and company environmental policies and contribute to the management of waste, energy and other resources
• Coordinate with supply chains, quality and external service company’s

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with production / manufacturing experience who wants to work on a Monday – Friday, days based role with the option to greatly increase your earning potential via uncapped overtime?

In this role you be responsible for the production, maintenance and improvement of all the equipment across the production line ensuring smooth running of the production line to give the customer the best service in line with company values.
