Job summary

Veolia in Tidworth is seeking a field maintenance practitioner to assist with inspections, services and repairs on Waste and Clean water assets across the Southern Region. The role involves standby cover and overtime as part of a rota, and may require work at other locations within the Southern Region.

You will also complete test reports, installation certificates and customer feedback documents. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential, with a focus on energy efficiency, reducing

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Experience of plant operations.
• NVQ or Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering maintenance (Level 2).

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections, services and repairs on Waste and Clean water assets across the Southern Region.
• Undertake standby cover and overtime as required as part of a rota (typically 1 week in 4 with additional payment).
• May be required to work at other locations within the Southern Region.
• Assist with completing test reports, installation certificates and customer feedback documents.
• Work with key stakeholders and customers teams; good communication is essential.
• Help ensure energy efficient operation of assets and minimise downtime and pollution risks.
• Help reduce raw material usage by thorough service and maintenance tasks with first time fixes.
• Look to develop and deliver innovation and opportunities to maximise efficiency within the operational teams.
