Job summary

Veolia operates a mobile field-service role across London and the South. The engineer will work as part of a small team to inspect, service and repair dewatering machines, assisting with pumps, pipework and valves on site.

You will undertake standby cover and occasional periods away from home, with flexible hours. The role requires a Full UK Driving License and a background in mechanical engineering maintenance or water/sewage treatment plant equipment.

Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving License required.
  • Experience in industrial environment or mechanical engineering maintenance.
  • NVQ Level 2 or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, service and repair dewatering machines on customer sites.
  • Assist with maintenance and repair of pumps, pipework, valves and ancillaries.
  • Support installations using plastics, stainless steel and mild steel; complete test reports and installation certificates.
  • Coordinate with on-site customer teams and act as point of contact.
