Anglian Water Services is seeking a Wastewater Maintenance Technician in Lincoln. You will carry out repairs, routine maintenance, and fault investigations on water recycling assets to ensure reliable operation. A driving licence is required to access on-site plant and respond to issues across sites.
The role offers full-time hours with some weekend work, and strong progression opportunities with comprehensive employee benefits and training provided.
Starting Basic salary (plus standby & overtime payments): £39,520 for candidates with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject)
£35,360 for candidates with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject)
Clear progression opportunities to earn up to £47,840 Basic with further training and experience
All PPE, tools, and fuel card provided
Permanent Full-time, with flexibility for part-time, 37 hours, 5-day working pattern including some weekends.

Get ready to make a difference and join us as a maintenance technician, responsible for carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults and completing scheduled maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets. This role is not just about doing a job, it has a real purpose; it’s about protecting our environment.
With support from a collaborative team, your mechanical knowledge will enable you to be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of water recycling assets – including equipment installed at water treatment works, as well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our mechanical assets Experience working with mechanical control systems, telemetry systems, pumps, gearboxes and general mechanical/electrical plant maintenance would also be advantageous. This role is vital and will have a direct impact on the environment and communities that we serve.
To be successful in this role, you must have obtained at least an NVQ level 2 or 3 (mechanical/engineering) qualification (or equivalent) and/or completed a relevant apprenticeship and hold a full UK driving licence
