Job summary

Anglian Water is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Haverhill and surrounding areas. You will perform repairs, inspections, and scheduled maintenance on water recycling assets to ensure reliable operation.

You’ll work with a collaborative team, using mechanical knowledge to maintain pumps, gearboxes, and mechanical/electrical plant components, with 37 hours per week and some weekend work; NVQ2/3 qualifications preferred and a full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 (mechanical/engineering) or equivalent, plus apprenticeship.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and scheduled maintenance on water recycling assets.
• Investigate and rectify faults in mechanical plant and pumps.
• Operate and maintain mechanical control and telemetry systems.
• Support 5-day, 37-hour week including some weekends.
