Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Water Recycling Electrician to join our Bedford team.

You will carry out general repairs, diagnose faults and perform scheduled and reactive maintenance to keep pumps, valves and control panels running reliably. With a collaborative team, you will build experience in electrical instrumentation and industrial equipment while supporting our customers and protecting the environment.

Qualifications

• An NVQ level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition electrical City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent.
• Have completed a relevant apprenticeship.
• A full UK driving licence is also essential.
• Demonstrable experience in completing inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis, being competent undertaking repairs to large pumps, actuated valves, VSD and 3-phase electrical switchgear.

• Carry out general repairs and fault diagnosis.
• Investigate and rectify faults; perform scheduled and reactive maintenance.
• Work with assets like electrical control panels, motors, pumps and instrumentation.

£45,760 starting salary, plus overtime and standby, with opportunity for pay progression up to £60,000 Basic Business use of company van, tools and PPE equipment

Permanent, Full Time 37 hours p/w, with flexibility for part time Location: Bedford, St Neots and surrounding areas

You’ll be responsible for carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults and completing scheduled & reactive maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets. This role is not just about doing a job, it has a real purpose; it’s about protecting our environment and our customers.

With support from a collaborative team, you will develop your commercial and industrial experience with assets such as: electrical control panels, motor testing, level control equipment and instrumentation, inverters, as well as working on/around gearboxes, screw conveyers and centrifuge equipment. This role is vital and will have a direct impact on the environment and communities that we serve.
