Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a permanent, full-time maintenance technician based in Lincoln and surrounding areas. The role offers 37 hours per week with occasional weekends and a starting basic salary of £39,520 for NVQ 3 or £35,360 for NVQ 2, plus progression to £47,840 with experience and training.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 or 3 in mechanical/engineering (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence. PPE, tools and a fuel card are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical/Engineering or equivalent/ apprenticeship.
• Driving licence is required for travel to sites.
• NVQ levels indicate hands-on mechanical/industrial competence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and fault rectification; perform scheduled maintenance to ensure asset reliability.
• Operate and maintain water recycling assets and equipment at treatment sites.
• Execute planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical assets.

Starting Basic salary (plus standby & overtime payments): £39,520 for candidates with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject) £35,360 for candidates with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject) Clear progression opportunities to earn up to £47,840 Basic with further training and experience All PPE, tools, and fuel card provided Permanent Full-time, with flexibility for part-time, 37 hours, 5-day working pattern including some weekends. Location: Lincoln and surrounding areas.

Job responsibilities

• Carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults and completing scheduled maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets.
• Day-to-day operation and maintenance of water recycling assets – including equipment installed at water treatment works.
• Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our mechanical assets.

Requirements

• NVQ level 2 or 3 (mechanical/engineering) qualification (or equivalent) and/or completed a relevant apprenticeship.
• Full UK driving licence.
