Job summary

Encyclis is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the new Walsall ERF site, joining a brand-new team in the West Midlands. You will perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical assets, ensuring safe, compliant operations and reliable performance.

You will report to the Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader and help develop maintenance strategies, oversee CMMS, and support outages while maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma or NVQ 4/3 in technical or science subject.
• Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship desirable.
• At least 5 years hands-on experience in a medium/large industrial facility.
• Experience with CMMS and outage planning is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance for mechanical assets.
• Diagnose faults and repair mechanical equipment and mobile plant.
• Develop maintenance strategies and safety procedures per OEM specs.
• Manage CMMS for maintenance activities and outages.
• Ensure safe systems of work and regulatory compliance.
