Job summary

Airbus is offering a 12.5-month placement at Broughton, North Wales, starting 16 August 2027. The role sits in the Calibration maintenance team with hybrid working and flexible hours, and a focus on applying maintenance improvements across the site.

You will work with engineers to modernise maintenance processes, gain experience across Airbus variants, and contribute to safety, quality and cost delivery while developing presentation and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studying Mechanical Engineering
• Computer science awareness is beneficial
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Willingness to learn and innovate within Airbus

Responsibilities

• Learn about Calibration maintenance with focus on maintenance strategy
• Work with teams to implement changes across safety, quality and cost
• Support and run projects across delivery and people
• Assist in modernising maintenance processes and spares management
