Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is offering an internship placement in the Calibration department at the Broughton site. The role focuses on maintenance strategies, spares management and process improvements, with opportunities to lead small projects across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People.

Open to undergraduates pursuing Mechanical Engineering; CS awareness is a plus. Hybrid working options and 25 days holiday are among the benefits, with a 12.5-month duration and a start date of 16 August

Qualifications

• Undergraduates pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree for the duration of the placement.
• Benefits from knowledge in Computer Science (web dev, Google suite) is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Interest in maintenance and reliability of assets is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Learn about the Calibration department with a focus on maintenance in Airbus.
• Support and run projects in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People.
• Contribute to spares management, preventive maintenance and process improvements.
• Assist in introducing new technologies and improving maintenance strategies.
