Job summary

South West Recruitment Ltd is seeking a permanent Industrial Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join a long-established Poole-based manufacturer. The role starts at £46,000 with progression to £52,300 per annum after progression levels are completed, including shift allowance.

The package includes a company pension, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, and overtime at 1.5x. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will perform planned preventative maintenance, record running hours, and respond to

Qualifications

• Pneumatics understanding and experience is required.
• A formal City & Guilds qualification.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills are essential.
• Must be a team player and capable of supporting maintenance tasks with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain records of machine running hours.
• Attend to machine breakdowns to ensure production continuity.
• Assist Electrician as required.
• Assist with tooling changes as needed.
• Coordinate with Shift Supervisor to prioritise workload.
• Work in a safe and tidy manner.
