Job summary

Probe UK Limited is seeking a maintenance engineer for a Monday to Friday day shift in a heavy engineering environment. You will join a team of engineers and have opportunities to develop and progress your career.

The role involves carrying out PPM, fault finding, and repairing electrical and mechanical faults on motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors and production machinery with PLC-controlled systems. UK-based, site role with potential for progression.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained.
• Recognised electrical qualifications.
• 18th edition (desirable).
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
• PLC fault finding would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and equipment.
• Responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Maintaining motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors and production machinery.
• Carrying out reactive maintenance to minimise production downtime.
• Completing routine inspection and servicing of equipment.
• Working with PLC-controlled machinery and basic electrical control systems.

We’ve partnered with a well-known company based in black country. We are looking to recruit an electrically bias maintenance engineer. My client is an established and growing UK industrial business with a strong heritage, modern facilities and a focus on quality, reliability and continuous improvement.

This role is a multi-skilled role working in a heavy engineering environment. You will be working a Monday to Friday day shift with a team of engineers. My client is looking for a maintenance engineer that they can develop and progress their career.

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and equipment
