Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Experience working with industrial machinery.
• A recognised engineering qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach.
• Commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Respond to mechanical breakdowns and fault find.
• Repair and maintain production machinery and equipment.
• Work on bearings, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, motors and drives.
• Identify recurring faults and recommend improvements.
• Carry out routine inspections and servicing.
• Support machinery installation and improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance work is safe and aligned with procedures.
