Job summary

10 Recruitment are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a busy manufacturing site in Holmfirth. The role is mechanically biased, focusing on preventative and reactive maintenance to keep production lines running reliably.

You will diagnose mechanical faults, replace motors and other components, and work closely with production teams while adhering to Health & Safety. A City & Guilds/NVQ in mechanical engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical fault-finding on production equipment.
• Experience performing planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
• Basic electrical knowledge and safe work around electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns.
• Change motors, bearings, belts, pumps and other mechanical components.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance within competence.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with installation and commissioning of machinery.
