Job description

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Matlock

Kirkland Associates are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Ripley, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer with a background within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Salary: c.a. 45k
Overtime available
Shift Pattern: 3 shifts rotation (06:00-14:05, 14:00-22:15, 22:00-06:15)

Role Responsibilities:

• Working within a team of 3 to reduce breakdowns & repairs to achieve production targets
• Ensuring safe operation of machinery
• Improving site facilities
• Supporting & contributing to continuous improvement projects to order and install new equipment
• Maintaining the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)

Candidate Requirements:

• Time-served (apprenticeship) electrical/mechanical maintenance engineer
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a process-oriented environment
• Root cause analysis and fault-finding experience
• Continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
