Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based in Didcot, Oxford. You will perform planned and reactive building maintenance in a pharmaceutical environment, working with the on-site team to ensure uptime and compliance.

The role offers a salary up to £46,350, overtime, training, and clear progression routes within a respected FM service provider. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with benefits including leave, life cover, and cycle-to-work schemes.

Qualifications

• Clear DBS is required.
• Provide copies of trade certificates.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Client-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical remedial works across site.
• Attend to and rectify mechanical faults.
• Complete planned maintenance in line with the PPM and task schedules.
• Deliver PPM activity to a high, professional standard.
• Produce technical and situational reports as required.
• Use company systems to maintain contractual compliance.
• Communicate clearly with the wider team and clients.
• Attend team meetings and briefings as required.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Escalate major site issues to line manager promptly.
• Maintain HSE and quality responsibilities.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider - Pharmaceutical - Didcot - Up to £46,350

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Didcot has arisen!

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to be based in a pharmaceutical environment located in Didcot, Oxford. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on-site.

Hours of work

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality responsibilities
