Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions in Warwick is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a healthcare environment. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on site, working with a small team and a senior engineer to keep critical plant running.

The role offers a £43,000 salary, overtime opportunities and a clear route for progression, with days only shifts 06:00–18:00 and a two-week cycle. On-site parking is available and training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Plumbing or mechanical qualification – City & Guilds Level 2.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Ability to multi-skill and work with clients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant.
• Pumps, motors, seals and bearings.
• Plumbing tasks: unblocking toilets, replacing taps and washers.
• BMS system monitoring (hot & cold).
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance.
• Maintain and update logbooks.
• Work to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes.
• Install/replace hot water cylinders, pipework, boilers and related equipment.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Healthcare Environment – Warwick – £43,000

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Warwick has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a healthcare building in Warwick. He or she or they will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site, working closely with a senior member of the team and the small team on site.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have some experience in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £43,000, overtime, plenty of further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintain and update Logbooks
• Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes
• Changing taps/washers
• Install and replace hot water cylinders, pipework, Boilers, Temperature check the repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM & reactive.
