Pioneer Selection is actively recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a major heavy industrial manufacturer in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Salary ranges from £48,000 to £51,000, with days and nights shifts, and a strong engineering culture.

This role sits within a large, investment-focused site offering long-term stability. In this position you will perform fault finding, reactive and planned maintenance, and support continuous improvement, upgrades and installations.

Qualifications

• Strong maintenance experience within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience carrying out reactive, planned, and breakdown maintenance in an industrial setting.
• Engineering qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance including fault finding, reactive and planned maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement, upgrades, and installations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in upgrades within a busy manufacturing site.
• On-site days and nights shifts with a focus on reliability and uptime.
