Job summary

PureKat Consultancy Ltd. in Haverhill, Suffolk, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a fast-paced FMCG site. You will carry out PPM, respond to breakdowns and support site reliability during a 37.5-hour week.

The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years’ time-served apprenticeship (electrical or mechanical), fabrication experience and good communication skills, with a solid understanding of H&S and records maintenance.

• Previous experience in a similar role (Mechanical Bias).

Position: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Haverhill, Suffolk

Salary: £40,000p.a. - £50,000p.a. DOE

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm 37.5 hours

An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk.

As Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out PPM as per schedule
• Site maintenance
• Breakdown cover
• Maintaining records
• Housekeeping
• Adhering to H&S policies at all times

An ideal candidate for the Maintenance Engineer will have:

• 1 - 5 years time served apprenticeship (electrical or mechanical)
• Fabrication experience
• Good understanding of FMCG environment
• Previous experience in a similar role (Mechanical Bias)
• Good communication skills.
