Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Eye, Suffolk. The role is hands-on, working with an experienced engineering team to keep production machinery running efficiently and minimise downtime.

The successful candidate will be mechanically biased with experience in industrial or manufacturing environments. Food sector experience is beneficial but not essential, and there are clear opportunities for training and long-term progression.

This is a hands‑on maintenance role, working as part of an experienced engineering team to keep production machinery running efficiently. The role will involve both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical equipment.

The successful candidate will be mechanically biased and have experience working in an industrial, manufacturing or production environment.

Food manufacturing experience would be beneficial, but engineers from other industrial backgrounds will also be considered.
